About the development:

We are a professional team of traders specializing in the development of Forex Expert Advisors (robots) for over 15 years. Most of the robots we create never actually reach the end client. The reason is that, in the end, after all tests, they do not meet our criteria for a profitable and reliable robot. Our approach to development is such that we prefer to discard a dozen "ordinary" robots in order to release only a few truly excellent developments.


Operating principle:
ADAPT EA represents a new, unique approach to the Forex market. Considering that the Market is not constant but a dynamically changing variable, the approach to settings and MM (Money Management) must also adapt based on the Market conditions. The ADAPT EA robot uses the grid principle as its main strategy. However, by using just a grid strategy, we wouldn't achieve outstanding reliability, let alone profitability — as demonstrated by backtests from 2000 to the present day. Therefore, ADAPT EA is based on three fundamental principles.

Three fundamental principles of ADAPT EA:

1. Grid strategy. This is a good, strong strategy with steadfast principles that the Market must always have a certain reversal (retracement) after a movement in one direction. Yes, this type of strategy has weaknesses like any other. If the grid is too small, we often encounter situations where the trend exceeds our grid, resulting in losses. If the grid is too large, the system's profitability becomes so small that it ceases to be justified for use. This is where our other two innovative fundamental principles come into play, minimizing the drawbacks of the Grid strategy.
2. Adaptive settings. The ADAPT EA system adjusts its grid parameters based on current Market conditions to meet the demands of the Market. This significantly increases profitability and enhances strategy reliability by always providing the necessary margin for our strategy.
3. Adaptive MM parameters. Depending on the Market conditions and our strategy settings, the system selects the necessary MM (Money Management). This also enhances profitability and ensures resilience in various Market conditions. This adaptation operates within specific limits, allowing us to know the maximum MM that might ever be required, thereby determining the minimum required deposit for trading.

Features:
Our robot is designed so that you don't have to struggle with settings or worry about correct lot calculations. All you need to do is specify in percentages how much of your deposit you want to trade with. Then, all settings, parameter adaptations, and MM will be automatically calculated for you, and drawdown limits will operate to ensure the strategy always has enough funds to function correctly. Moreover, the drawdown limits (Stop Loss) will always remain at the level you specify.

Troubleshooting and recommendations for backtesting:

• SPREAD. By default, the strategy tester in MT4 and MT5 sets the spread for testing as Current. In this case, it simply uses the value of spread that is currently in the Market, which can lead to an erroneous result on backtests, especially during weekends, because at that moment when the Market closes the spread can jump to 100-200 points (10-20 on 4 digits) and stay that way for the whole weekend. We recommend manually specifying a value of spread, which is an average usual for a pair being tested.
• LEVERAGE. Not everyone knows, but the strategy tester uses a leverage of the account that is currently logged into MT. That is, if a leverage of your account is 1.200, then the backtest will be made with an emulation of the leverage of 1.200. To test Adapt EA, we recommend using a leverage specified in the recommendations above or setting it to 1.500, so there would be no problems due to low leverage under any testing conditions.
