I think we’re counting it differently.
Your $400 target was about needing $400 more in total to reach $1,600. If that’s the case, we should count the full pledges: $200 + $200 + $100 = $500, which already covers that gap.
Right now you’re subtracting the original $80 and only counting the extra (120, 120, 20). That’s why you get $260, but that’s a different way of measuring it.
Just wanted to flag the difference so we’re talking about the same thing. My calculations as below assuming you agree to pay more at $ 295.70.

We can just start the group buy and once the group reaches 1600 then I'll go and buy it. That's simpler than arguing on how to calculate.

I was giving a buffer because not all these 19 people are actually send money. I see this in other threads.

Today, I discovered that PayPal is no longer an accepted payment method for this Group Buying site. So, I will need to open a payment account to send the $200 I pledged for this purchase.

1. Can I request to select trading strategy #12 - Breakout Strategy (Long) In Gold ?
2. There will be lots of articles (300-400++) to be extracted at your end, would you able to do so? Same goes to backtesting course, trading course and others which is in the platinum membership?
3. Since there will be monthly strategy sent to you, you will provide them to us right?

For your point number 1, can you please post the website URL for the strategy that you wish to include in the selection of strategies? I may have already purchased this strategy, and I could post it here so that we can select a different strategy. What are your thoughts on this suggestion?

Forget this suggestion. If I post the strategy here for everyone, the edge will likely get wiped out by the sheer number of other users trading it that aren't part of the Group Buy.

I'd love that.
For your other point: the strategies i have of them have been leaked for years and they still make me money.
People are lazy, dont know how to size, and prefer running after 100% ez gains over having a steady portfolio.

Btw yes i can grab that one. Also I will probably give Goodmen my logs for the proper group extraction format.

I purchased F112: Gold Breakout Strategy (@GC) which can be found on the QS webpage: https://www.quantifiedstrategies.com/backtested-futures-systems/
I think this is the same, or at least similar, strategy as what you are looking at. I have posted the "F112 Plain English.txt" file at the 'Payment details' page. In the text file, you will see that the QS company mentions they test the strategy on GLD ETF.
The F112 strategy performance was a bit ordinary in terms of drawdowns, so I changed to a Custom Session time for better entries, and introduced a Max Holding Time.

I just wanted to say, to me I wouldn't add this to my portfolio because I have better strategies, and I think you'll be happy discovering some of their other ones that have a much better profit to loss ratio to replace this

It's thankful that you shared it, we'll have 1 more to our stack since we dont have to buy that one!
