Short-Dated Options Strategy Guide

why would we look for additional strategies if this one is working ?
First, as was stated, the parameters aren't included. You have to figure out what works. This isn't a working system out of the box. If you read the posts in the previous thread, they mention the buyers are backtesting. They are backtesting because they don't have the working parameters.
Second, you always have to keep changing the parameters even after you find something that backtests profitable. The market changes and what worked before, won't always work.
This is not a system that you set and forget that is being bought here.

but it is mentioned that there's a strategy with all its parameters in the end of this GB

My experience in backtesting and developing option strategies, as well as the experience of many others, is that you can find parameters that backtest great, but inevitably fall apart forward testing.
I agree that this is too much for just something that is basically system development advice.
selling options is way more robust than buying options. The strategy is not about predicting price moves but harvesting volatility risk premium. People are always afraid of big volatility events and ready to pay a premium for protection, that won't change soon. I'm trading a simple short put strategy for 5 years and the underlying concept still works like a charm. More strategies are good to avoid bigger drawdowns but you can make very good money with only one strategy only. The metrics for this strategy are crazy and if you are not retarded you will make money with it.

A simple short put strategy won't get you the equity curve shown on this one and the pdf for this one doesn't include the parameters to achieve the equity curve shown.

I never claimed that this is a simple short put strategy just that the underlying concept (harvesting risk premium) is the same.

btw. this is from only selling puts daily. There is a very clear edge in risk premiums.

Finally someone understands this aspect. This is where this guy explains what pitfalls to look for where everyone goes through while making expensive mistakes. His real life parameters and how he changes based on feedback from market is where the holy grail is.

Honestly you need the read the main sales document again. Theres no point in me repeating. If you dont get it by reading the document then you simply just dont get it. Ill give you a hint. "Correlation"

ketolad doesn't know shit about this pdf. He has never seen it and he is only trashing the gbs because he wanted to sell it more expensive.
I have the full doc. Not just the 58 pages which doesnt include parameters. 58 pages is 1/3rd. I already told many times I am not willing to sell anymore. You are probably the donkey reseller who wants people to pay you for some random parameters which look good on backtest. All I will say is buyers beware. This guys system is not a plug and play set of parameters but a quantitative approach to how to adjust the parameters with time and in line with your account size and in line with your risk tolerance. I know @martinm limited IQ won't get it. Read it all again slowly...maybe there's a chance.

I'm just too new to this system :)
Its ok. Un correlated systems produce alpha because when they all have an edge, whichever environment is conducive the collectice edge provides the alpha. Otherwise all trend following systems fail at the same time. It reduces the portfolio of strategies aggregate drawdowns

@GOODMEN my suggestion is to drop this GB completely. It is not really a product but a mentorship. Whoever is the original buyer will have a lot of benefit but the document alone will not be of much help to anyone. I campaigned for a very complicated and expensive GB of onlyticks so I am fully aware of the risks involved but that GB was worth it because at least what we got out of it was of value. This won't add much value and unnecessarily too much risk.

I recommended another person to go and buy it directly and out of curiosity we screen shared our docs. Even the toc between both of our document had few bullets paraphrased differently. Go figure if you want to get into a legal battle with someone like that.

Don't worry, this GB won't be finished, and we'll buy it anyway. Thank you for your cooperation.

Mate, if you don't want to sell it, fine. I suggest you to get over it, you keep on going about 'legal battles' with someone from Japan, as if there any kind of risk...

He literally deleted everything for fear of it being leaked, and threatened people for fear of it being leaked, nothing more. That guy won't do anything, he just travels around. You shouldn't be afraid of anything.

maybe the pdf is a rewritten summary of the whole document? You simply don't know.
