Are you sure ? The risk is not 30% of your new balance ? Because if you are risking everytime 30% of your new balance it is not the case.

 

So you saying, he is risking 30% of the initial balance every time.
What I meant is if you have losing streak of 3 trades then you are 90% down.

 

Not if you are risking 30% of the new balance each time, exemple :
100-30%=70
70-30%=49
49-30%=34.3
in the case you lost 65.7% of your initial balance in 3 losing trades.

 

"20 pips challenge" use 23% risk.

Yeah, 3 down! But I think two extra were 20 pips under water but I didn't close them and they turned into winners. This strategy with all 7 requirements is quite a winning mashine.

 

I suppose, if you bought a $5K prop account. You would have 25 goes at it using $20 initial balance before reaching stop loss limit? Worth a punt anyhow.
