Yes not a very healthy possibility to expect.

I am interested in prop firms as well but I am of the opinion that it is better to search for robust EAs which have made money in the past
and still continue to be profitable which could also succeed to pass prop firm challenges.

I think that looking for an EA or to pass a prop firm challenge first before looking for a good EA is like putting the Cart before the horse.

You're right. But the problem is that with my own EA I don't over-operate or I'm very strong in trading. Over leveraged.
It would take me about six months.
And real trading, both manual and with EAs, usually gives 1% per month and with that goal as a trader you are already happy.
Making 12% in a year is crazy for many.
The story is that if you operate in more markets, you over-operate when the timing is down or you are over-leveraged. You get higher returns but with a very large risk of account death.

EAs to pass tests or martingale EAs, I see them as something to pass the test sooner.
If you have a good time and if you fail, try again.

When you pass the test, you start your own EAs or do manual trading.
What is important to remember is that all firms have capital limits once financed.
We cannot have thousands of accounts in the same name.
But as long as you have good friends, it's not a problem to keep creating new uncorrelated systems and keep passing challenges.

In the end the objective is to collect this money and deposit it in your own broker account to grow.
Since the problem is always the initial capital.
