    Merrit Black (teacher of this course) only uses Sierra Charts. I've already reviewed his material before...

    So, please join this GB which is in collection of funds stage and make it a success. Sierra charts is a prerequisite... belive me.. if you are really serious get it ASAP. Otherwise MANY MANY MONTHS WILL BE WASTED...

    So, I will join this GB only if Sierra charts GB is successful.

    My point is... there is very little point in getting this if you dont already have Sierra charts. Many months will be wasted in trying to get "alternative" charting tools... But you will not find them... believe me on this.

    Just get the tools used by the teacher...

    what are you talking about?

    you can use any software that has market profile and footprints, there is no magic indicator, he teaches auction market theory, investor rt, motivewave,NinjaTrader, atas,quantrader,Sierra , probably trade station and others I haven’t used

    Replicate his workspace and then I will agree with you. Sierra charts has drawing tools feature that you will NOT FIND in any of the software listed.

    Those tiny things you find in Sierra that the teacher uses... are not available in other software... of course... theorywise, you can use any software.

    it is about convenience.... Sierra gives that straight out of the box... if you want to struggle/adjust with what others give... thats completely up to you.

    I'm sorry but I cant elaborate here. I watched the entire course.... searched many months for some feature available in Sierra.... in other platforms... I didn't find it... I got frustrated and left...

    May be you are different. Good luck.

    My honest and timesaving advice. Get Sierra first and learn from him. Otherwise. you will waste so much time trying to find substitues with the little things he does... and those things are important... and you will not find in other platforms....

    Just my 3 cents... feel free to ignore...

    I know guys that trade NADRO using NinjaTrader and even TradingView. There is nothing he uses that doesnt come out of the box in any other platform.

    Ninja has free market profile built into package. Dude if you are incompetent in any of the packages, doesn't mean everyone is. Vwaps / volume profile/ cumulative delta and Little bit of market profile is all he uses for narrative and execution. All platforms have these.

    I will post a ninjatrader workspace when I have time which would be designed for NADRO

    I agree with @Mpwizard and @ketolad.

    Let's be clear, Volume Profile offers everything Market Profile does, and it even does so for free on TradingView.

    Both tools provide similar insights into distributions and help in identifying value.

    I have done his course andsSierra would be the best. Reason being is that what he teaches is using periodic vwaps on the yearly,quarterly, monthly,weekly and daily. This can easily be done on other platforms. The other thing he teaches is merging and splitting of TPO profiles, which sierra chart is the only capable platform to do this. But can be done through approximation on toher platforms. Anyway.
