I understand you guys use the concepts that you use to help emerald, although we are purely testing emerald, at least me and @cutsnake are. Without interference ideally we'd like to see how it performs

Why use the EA then. You were ontop of the market yourself. Not useful information for the direction we are heading with this thread. 99.9% of people here will not know what you were even looking at to cut the trade! I personally will stick to fully automatic and see the results.

concur. i don't believe in manual intervention at the moment unless macroeconomic events.

if one has to use ict/smc concepts, it'll be better to create a new thread as well as conduct principal at another account (mt4/5, fxall/instinet, or ctrader)

 

hello @John_Dave99, why not use options to hedge out implied vols?

rather taxing to keep watching the ea or deals run during flow liquidity..

 

Different broker maybe

Although both icmarkets and ftmo took the same buy trade for me. timeframe, switching it on and off, restarting it, times in settings correlating to broker time, that may have an effect. not sure what your circumstances are

 

I think so too , I also had a buy on FTMO , but it hit SL

yes, the rebooting of system does cause a change especially if the 'Autotrading' feature is turned on perpetually.

just adapt to switch off before rebooting platform

 

i'm using stoneX platform api to electronic market-making venues dma.

 

as far as my system i had no reboots


maybe yours did, which is why your trade is different to everyone elses

 

I reboot my , but I always leave auto ON when restarting mt4
