Correct me if I am wrong. Need to apply on Gold timeframe Daily right?

 

I've been using it on M5, but looks like is not a walk in the park to run this EA...
I just woke up with a -2.2% because there was a big dump overnight so i might need to test it other timeframes as well...
Thats also why we need to have V2, maybe it has better security measures than V1.

 

Darn it! That's so nasty! Yeah, maybe wait for a while then.

 

It just happened again... Looks like this EA gets trapped easily on violent reversals like this (a 300 pips move just occured, probably news driven) and it can erase in minutes days of profit...
Luckily i already removed from challenges this morning, this was only on demo and using one of the supposed safest files called Long term consistency.

Not those setfiles, I received this EA from somewhere else and had a standard setfile..

 

You're right, now im seeing i have that setfile as well but didnt pay much attention to it because it wasnt clear what is the recommended timeframe for it... M5? H1?

 

I so that respond ok on 5 min, but you can test it on 1hr also, I need to start testing again

This EA is not set and forget EA like many other EAs, so users are running while monitoring market. If you look at the Author channel,you can see that too. So, you set target and run the EA for few hours when the market is not too volatile I guess!

 

I've seen many testimonials of running on assian session only... But there are others running 24x5 as well. I'll try to run it again with maxtrades set to 2 only from 2am to 9am broker time and see how it goes.
Today in the morning i left it with default settings and ended up opening these 5 trades in the wrong direction doubling lotsize with each new one with the intention of recovering losses, something that never happened because at some point it gave up and closed everything at a loss for a beautiful -$2.1K.

 

i guess you guys need the proper tweaked set fyles.
