No, I haven't passed my FTMO trial yet.
I have an FTMO demo account open for 14 days and on it I've
been testing different systems bought here or elsewhere and
different robots since it was opened.

My account closes tomorrow and I'm $45 in profit instead of the
$500 requested, so it's dead for this one.

But, Petko's EA's seem to me to be very good robots so I'm
planning to open a new FTMO demo account where I'll only use
Petko's EA's.

But I've got a problem with that. I haven't run all his robots on a
standard demo account, so I don't have the data to know which of
the 7 to use first.

My goal is to complete a Prop Firm challenge before the end of the
year and open a Prop Firm account with $5,000 or $10,000 and
open several more. Because I have a French trader who advised
me to manage several small accounts rather than one big one.

Okay for the month am looking for EA's that make money even if a bit high risk but must have some back record.

Regarding the prop firm challenge the result was 100% EA. I did not purchase the package yet to do the FTMO challenge because my instincts tell me it could be a scam or there is some knowledge am missing out. I don't want to go trading then be told after that I did not keep to a rule.

I suspect they rip of people somehow then act fair with traders with Youtube channels so that they can go and brag on youtube which would indirectly attract them more clients.

I, too, am looking for an effective EA.

But I'd like a semi-automatic robot. In other words, I'd like to activate
it myself when I find an upward or downward trend and have it trade
only in that direction, because it'll detect the ideal setup faster than I can.

Congratulations on your test challenge. After all, all the robots I've tested
so far have ALL burnt up my accounts.

As far as the FTMO account and a few other prop firms are concerned,
there's nothing to worry about.

 

Not sure I know a semi automatic bot, maybe for that you want to use the supply and demand indicator.

I am more focussed on making a steady income or ROI. We could be a good team if you had the same goal

 

and I think you are trying to make money in the markets by predicting good trends but ultimately you need a mathematical edge to make money either way as the markets always revert to the mean price at some point. To my opinion i think the robot is better at entry and exit and also using math to average out or in.
It's impossible to beat the robot at trading. You can try if you wish.

Hello, what do you need?
Do you want to overcome a challenge or do you want a robot that earns money after the challenge?

To get through the rest I would say go with the companies that accept HFT. And you put an HFT bot.
While you have an FTMO or fundedtradingplus account with a bot created by you or that you know makes profits.
Now that there is no time limit you let it operate calmly without over-leveraging and that's it.
Then you see.

Around here I saw some martingale passing FTMO the first phase. But when I don't know what they will do when they reach the second phase.
Looking at statistics, I passed the tests of a phase 7 out of 10 times.

 

I only use fully automated systems.
So I can't help you.
The first robot I bought here was the black bird.
But for a personal FTMO account I wouldn't use a third party bot.
I think I'd better do it myself.

To pass challenges that accept HFT, I would use a third-party bot that is doing it and passing challenges.
It is a risk but the reward is another place where you can run your own bots or strategies.

I wonder why the prop firms would not let you use bot in the second phase. This is knowledge I should have by now being a participant in the industry .

But I don't because my bots could likely do both phases. Why wouldn't they? they are not letting the Martingale or HFT ? or the supposed firms just don't let bots trade their money?

So to answer your question of what I need, I need systems which yield 1% plus a day. Since I currently do 0.4%
I can imagine the aforementioned by you actually does that, maybe the times have changed as I suspect seeing a burst via my fxbook which could be linked to it. Or maybe not, people often publish misleading EA names on myfxbook seemingly due to misnamed products sold or shared.

its not fully automated so I did not set it up yet. I prefer and use automated systems more often than not.

 

Is there a list of good EAs somewhere? I started shopping on this site, I took Waka Waka and it's OK, I'm still testing it, but it's slow and there are few trades in few days.
Do you have a recommendation for 2-3 good EAs for me to try from this forum. I work with my money no props?

There are many including my own EA created after lots of time.

For this forum you can purchase Adam for FTMO and I would show you how to use it.
I guess next week since the markets are a bit volatile this week but can purchase it already.
