To me using highly accurate EA and/or copytrading signals sounds far more reasonable than finding traders to manage the account. Maybe Admin can even chime in and help to use the EA that forum members bought over the years, in exchange for additional fees within reason.

 

I passed the FTMO challenge in 5 days

 

This guy has a nice track record. Until we find the best EA for this we will bank on his signals. Doesn't matter if its a EA or a human as long as we get money in our pockets. We could back tests EAs on the vps we buy while we run his signals.

 

My main goal is to have a low risk. Non greedy approach that scales us into making 1500dollars per month in the span of 3months. 5% in 5days is so risky I doubt you can do it 3 times in a row. If you can do it 3 times in a row then it will be acceptable.

Guys, this is not going to be simple when more people are involved in something like this we will have to agree on everything before we connect any EA or trade manually.
I trade EA`s only if they pass OOS analysis (out of sample) EA must be tested on a minimum of 5 years if you trade from 1H chart if you trade from 4H I suggest 10 years so you need to purchase more data for your MT4 so you can backtest. properly. I can help with that.
We need to open the account in someone's name who is going to be?
We need VPS I suggest that only one or max 2 people will have access to the VPS other participants will have to keep looking for reliable EA`s and do the testing I will direct that.
All of us will have the access to the FTMO portal to see the daily performance.
I Can use also my EA that trades on GJ, GN, EU, UJ, GF, EG using 1H time frame my EA made money every year since 2016 I will share my test analysis if I participate.
I would like the other participants to put their cards on the table to introduce them selfs.

I think you are making it too complicated. Two people will have the access: trader and admin. The rest will read just weekly / monthly reports. That's about it.

If people have ftmo access, it means they have access to the account which means they can do something stupid to the trades...

I agree more with SWGamer idea that one trader only monitors / manages that all looks good with copy-ing signals from a signal service.

 

Glad to see you backing me up as well.I do have an fidelcrest account. And I plan to have a nice discussion with not only h3ks but all the other participants too.

And as for @Deni. We will keep diversifying strats by opening new accs as we accumulate profit. So if you can shows us forward testing done on multiple ftmo trials accounts in a row we can implement that too into future accounts. Currently the service we intend to go with has 6month forward testing and still going.

It is the process of being forward tested and if it succeeds the forward test we can add it to an account in the future.

I suggest that you consider the tax implications also.

In forums such as these, many may not be willing to provide the "Know Your Customer" (KYC) type of verification with their personal information like social security number in the USA so that Form 1099 (Working as a Contractor) types forms can be issued. If they belong to different countries, and people who just go by proxy name tags here do not cooperate, the one person in whose name the account is - may be asked to pay the full amount of the tax with all of their other income(s) added in.

 

Yep been thinking about that.I say we join in as a company which Fidelcrest allows or have a guy from a third world country where the IRS doesn't ask a lot of questions to be the face of the operation. I lean in more of the company view.
