hey @andie you know course that offers machine learning or some sort?

and Im new to quantitative just exploring on some kind can you recommend good course to start with? is CPM good or too advance for a Beginner

ps. Im logical person and has structured mind - got some good grasp on basic programming as well

 

There are a few types of machine learning methods that are generally used -- good ole Linear Regression, and various tree-based methods such as GBM (e.g. xgboost) are good examples.
You are mostly interested in analyzing time series data so those are generally the best for that. I don't know of anyone using fancy Deep Learning/Neural Network stuff because I mostly work with HFT and those methods are just too slow.

Anyway, you should prefer to stick to courses taught by Quants if you want to gain useful knowledge, e.g.
